My Priorities
Agriculture & Rural Ireland; Support Farmers and protect rural livelihoods against onerous regulations. Agriculture is the backbone of our Economy.
Education & Special Education; Address lack of appropriate school places, rising operational costs, inadequate infrastructure, lack of childcare places & student accommodation.
Health, Mental Health & Disability Services; Address the waste and inefficiencies within our Health System to ensure timely access to services for all that need them, reform of our failing Disability services & Home-care services.
Housing & Planning Policy reform; Focus on delivering social & affordable housing, tackle escalating costs, burden-some planning laws, & the unchecked bulk-buying of properties by vulture funds/foreign investors.
Law & Order and Crime; Increased Garda Numbers and visibility in our towns & villages; address growing levels of antisocial behaviour/crime & repeat offenders.
Sensible Immigration Policy; Continue to advocate for a responsible & controlled Immigration Policy.
Supporting Small & Medium Enterprises; SMEs are vital to Ireland’s economy, however recent Government budgets have overlooked the critical support they require.
Taxation & Value for Money; Continue to advocate for a reduction in unnecessary taxes, i.e. Carbon Tax & VAT on fuel, recognising the burden these taxes place on rural residents and seek greater oversight in Government spending.
Water Infrastructure; Urgent need for upgrades to Wastewater Treatment Plants to our rural villages & improvements to unreliable water supply to homes, farms & businesses by Uisce Eireann
